Best time of Asthi Visarjan in Haridwar

It is believed that Asthi Visarjan in Haridwar should not be performed after sunset. It should only be performed from sunrise to sunset. It is a belief that the soul of the deceased doesn’t find peace if the Asthi Visarjan is performed after sunset. If the family of the deceased arrives late in Haridwar, they should wait for sunrise to perform Asthi Visarjan.
