Can a son-in-law do Pind Daan?
Yes, a son-in-law is permitted to perform Pind Daan in certain cases. If the deceased has no son or the son is unwilling to perform the rites for some reason, and the daughter of the deceased wishes her husband to act as their son and carry out the ceremonies, then the son-in-law may do so.
