Who can do Tripindi Shradh?
The eldest son of the family can perform Tripindi Shradh for the departed. If the eldest son is unavailable for any reason, these daughters are also permitted to do so, reflecting liberal Hindu beliefs. In some instances, sons-in-law may also conduct the ceremony if the daughter refuses to do so. Overall, anyone in the family can perform Tripindi Shradh if they wish to.
